Well, we’re drawing women’s hair this time ’round and I took that direction as an opportunity to draw a gal with tons of piled up hair and tons of piled up everything else as well. Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) from AMC’s Mad Men has lovely tresses of blazing red hair that she weaves around her head into a high rise serpentine sculpture. While I don’t think I got a really great likeness in the drawing, I do think her character comes through a little here; sexy and tough and ready to take care of business (whether that means trying to save a recently lawnmowered foot or wheel out a newly expired secretary under the nose of clients, she’s ready.)
