Admittedly, I saw a really great drawing of Kenny that Brandon had done and I just wanted a shot sketching out this living legend my own self. Besides, I’m sure a down and out Ramona would be powerless against the advances of an even downer and outer, recently fired Kenny Powers in a sordid little sports bar someplace. So 8th Evil Ex Kenny Powers, let’s go!

This is Kalbi. As lead vocals of the Korean Short Ribs, he rocks the stage on the mystifying Keytar. His supernatural ability to transform time and make chumps dance the robot style’ has made him a huge star in the underground dance clubs. He was Ramona’s beau during the tweaner’ years before she realized the 80′s sucked.

In “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” Scott learns the hard way that a faint heart never won a fair lady when he finds out that he must battle the 7 Evil Exes of the object of his affection, Ramona Flowers. As if he didn’t have his hands full already, we’re challenging you to create Ramona’s 8th Evil Ex! Is this person a lady or a gentleman? Does this nefarious Evil Ex plan to kick Scott’s butt with a sword, brass knuckles, or mystical lightning powers? Cause as much trouble as you can for our hero and show us an 8th Evil Ex who is a force to be reckoned with!

so in my continuing efforts to tell a good story, here’s page 4 from my webcomic, the Imaginox
I received a request for this commision based on an earlier one I did of Adam Baldwin as Jayne from Firefly. I wasn’t familiar with the show (CHUCK), so the person requesting the commission brought me the entire first season on DVD to use as reference…now I’m hooked on the show! 
As you might imagine I used photo reference for this…copic pens on 11 x 17 bristol.
So, wow, Sketch Charlotte is spreading it’s tendrils further and further out into the recesses of the larger world all the time. I wanted to get this up before everyone else starts posting and puts me to shame…
I like playing with HB’s arm size a bit. Theoretically, he should have one kinda monstrous arm (his right one, duh) and one smaller arm. but for this I just made it a tad bigger, and of course it’s a little larger because of the pose.
I had a lot of fun inking this one. It’s all brush with the exception of the white on his right hand, and some stuff in his skullular region.
Not THOSE Avengers, but the awesome British show featuring John Steed and Emma Peel. This is as close to creative as I could get after seeing all of the other rad and thoughtful submissions. Now back to inking for the Hellboy Sketchercise!
