We tried out a new location this week and I think it worked out pretty well. We had a good group of artists come out to drink beer, eat burgers and draw in their sketchbooks. While most of the Sketch Charlotte guys fill their pages with imaginative cartoons or character drawings I tend to draw the people I see so here’s who I saw this evening.
I should really try to draw more people, it’s a great way to document all those real life little details that are so hard to make up when trying to create a character out of nothing. I always feel a little guilty about drawing people though. Can’t help but feel a little creepy as I stealthfully observe them eating their cheese fries.
You know I always try and do this but it never comes out looking this brilliant. Just excellent.
