Punk Storm

I’ve been SUPER lazy about posting, but I at least I haven’t stopped drawing! I finished this one a few weeks ago, and I’m really pleased with it. This is my all-time favorite version of the character.

The Paul Smith run is still my favorite run of X-Men comics ever. I dig it man. Only crit would be that I’d like to see a little more weight to your line in places to show off the form more.

Yaaaaaay, Terence! Glad to see you finally post and to hear you haven’t stopped drawing. Boy, those are some babe-a-licious thunder thighs! Nice use of the background grays, too. Keep it up and post some more.

Good stuff, Terence. Love the purple in the background. Figure is pretty damn good too. I always feel like your drawings go way too close to the edge of the paper and/or look like they trying to adjust themselves so they don’t hit the edge of the paper. Otherwise great!

Herc: Glad you liked it! I’m kind of working on changing my line a bit, I know it can be flat in some places. I just haven’t figured it out completely yet…

Tom: Thanks for the support! Yeah her thighs are a bit meaty, but who doesn’t like at least a little of that? :) I’ve got a couple of pieces sin the works where the girls are much thinner. I think the female form is my biggest problem in art at the moment.

Rich: Thanks for the kind words! Usually, I do skirt too close to the edge of the paper and have to cram the figure in. The worst example of it is the Wonder Man that’s on my DA page. He’s mega squatty because of poor placement. This one’s all my scanner’s fault, though. I was working on 9×12, and it only covers up to 8×11. I definitely need a new one.
