Got inspired inbetween meetings by what a co-worker was wearing.

Did this a few years back in one of my sketchbooks. Started as a study in folds of clothing from one of John Cassaday’s drawings in a Planetary issue. Took the drawing into photoshop and tweaked it a bot…ended up as this.
On a related note, we just recorded a podcast about the Planetary series over at the Dollar Bin…check it out!

Just a friendly reminder that last week’s meeting has been rescheduled for WEDNESDAY November 18th @ 6:30 pm at the Philosopher’s Stone – Hope to see everyone there. And as always – BRING SOMETHING TO SKETCH WITH!
These were initial sketches for a buddy’s tattoo from a few years back. He wanted two angels to represent his two girls, turns out he wanted toddlers. I redesigned them to fit his needs, but I liked these too much to throw away, so I unearthed them for today’s post!

Hey guys- in stores this week was the second issue of Tom Corbett Space Cadet… You grab yo’ copy, yet? Sorry I haven’t been posting much art- i’m wrapping up the last issue right now and once this is done I’ve got something special in the works.

Just wanted to remind everyone that the next SC meeting is this Thursday @ 6:30pm at the Philosopher’s Stone on 7th and Pecan (across from Heroes).
Newcomers are welcome. Be sure to bring something to draw with! And as always, feel free to bring stuff you’re working on at home to share with the group….Hope to see you there!
Did these back in 1999 for the ASU school newspaper for the highly anticipated Episode I preview. Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda were in the original collage as well, but I couldn’t find the scans for those. This is a new mash up I did this morning in Photoshop, nothing fancy, just something new…
