Superman vs…Superman?

A commission I did for my buddy Troy @ Planet Comics. The request was for Superman to be fighting Superboy Prime…in space! Had a lot of fun with this one. Used Copic & Prismacolor markers and some white acrylic for the stars (spattered with an old toothbrush). Don’t know if you can tell on here or not, but using the two types of black ink really worked out. The background (prismacolor) is almost a matte black whereas the characters were inked with Copic multiliners for an almost gloss look. Really makes the characters pop off the background!

Fun, fun! I love the bottom figure best, it’s super sweet. The top one’s arms, fists and head got a bit large-ish. I agree with Herc, try out some coloring!!
