Kilowog sketch

by Terence

I know I missed last night’s meeting, but that’s no excuse to not post. I feel like this is a bit of a letdown after Tom’s excellent last post, but I gotta keep my streak alive (heh). This is an initial sketch of Kilowog that I’ll later lightbox, tighten and ink. I absolutely hate that left arm, but haven’t figured out what to do with it yet. I hope to have this one ready for the convention on Oct 24.

p.s. Vy, this one has feet, so I hope you enjoy them. As stumpy as they are.

That’s a damn near perfect Kilowog head! Try bending the left arm into the traditional “power grip” where it’s as if he’s making a fist, but the fingers aren’t quite interlocked yet…just a thought!

But at least he has something to stand on this time. I think you should give Brandon’s suggestion a shot, too. I think it’d look cool. :D

That’s one mean Kilowog you’ve got there. Nice foreshortening on the arms. The left arm’s foreshortening is subtle. If you tucked that right elbow just a tad further back from us, it’d even be subtleier. :)
