KIP Take 2

SO, after last thursday's meeting- and with many, many thanks to Diego, I've reworked the composition on the pinup, I think it works much better this time around... How does it stack up to the other one?

Herc:

John already showed me the new version this morning. I told him then that I felt it is a much stronger piece than the original. The composition works much better and the design flows a lot smoother. Good Job, brother.
Peace,
Herc

Rich:

Nice work, John. I like the expressions on the two women. These look sad and remorseful like they've probably witnessed the guys standing next to them do something truly awful that they can never forget. Or am I reading too much into it?

Tess:

John, I like this a lot. Great use of positive/negative space for psychological impact. One minor quibble: shouldn't all the characters' hair be blown by the wind in the same direction?

john:

You'd think they'd be blowing in the same direction, but that's joy of comics, I can make it however I want :)

Actually, it was more of just an oversight...
Thanks ;)

TomD.:

MUCH better, John. Looks really nice and is stronger than the last version. Two things I'd change: the front 3 folks are a bit "left-heavy" with the 2 folks on the left wearing black shirts and the fellow in profile on the right wearing white on white. He needs a black piece of attire, I think. Also, while I'm not a fan of white-space halos around figures, if you're gonna use 'em make sure you give yourself plenty of space. I think in some areas the halo needs a little more separation, be a little thicker than it currently is (especially around the upper left-hand characters).

Looks great! Congrats! :)
