Drawing is the best cure that I know of for boredom... plus you get to capture the beauty and absurdity of everyday life, as Tom as done here with his "ideo" stand. Another idea I've had for a while: guerilla drawing. As in, we all go to a big, crowded public event (Speed Street, Taste of Charlotte, the uptown bar scene on a Saturday night) and just try to sketch as many people as possible incognito, then regroup after an hour or two. I suppose it could get ya punched in the nose, but it could also be pretty entertaining. Count me in!
